With deep love, we announce the peaceful passing of Deana Kay Stout Snider on October 18th, 2026. She was born November 10th, 1951 to her adoring parents, Edwin and Eleanor Stout. She attended Allen Jay High School and married her high school sweetheart, Donald R. Snider Jr. .
Our beloved “Nana” cherished time with family and friends and always had a beautiful smile to greet loved ones. She enjoyed taking care of her cats, especially Biscuit who was with her to the end. Deana was employed for many years in the furniture industry and liked making things beautiful whether it was her yard, her home, or projects at work. Family and friends will remember her caring heart and willingness to help anyone who needed it. Mrs. Snider will also be recalled for her tasty down home cooking and the way it would bring family together on Sundays past. Her grandchildren will fondly reminisce the laughs and good times they shared with their one of a kind Nana.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Snider Jr. as well as both of her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Edwin Stout.
She leaves behind a son, Chad (Wendy) Snider, two grandchildren, Brittany (Jacob) Bingham and Bradly Snider and five great grandchildren, Talon, Gunner, Freyja, Eris, and Bjorn Bingham.
Also surviving are her brothers, Jerry (Barbara)Stout and Jason( Lisa) Stout and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the special people of Hospice of the Piedmont for the wonderful support and kindness offered during these last few months.
