Dean Paul Stockwell

Mr. Dean Paul Stockwell, age 73, of Greensboro, North Carolina, died, Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the Hospice Home at High Point.

Mr. Stockwell served in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman during the Vietnam era, completing an underway deployment to the Mediterranean and working at Naval Hospital Portsmouth, Virginia and other duty stations. After leaving the Navy, Mr. Stockwell worked a wide variety of careers in the Information Technology.  He volunteered his time as an Emergency Medical Technician on the local ambulance corps in Ellington, Connecticut. Later, after retiring, Mr. Stockwell volunteered at his local Veteran’s Affairs Medical Centers, assisting his fellow veterans. He enjoyed playing golf as his hobby.

Mr. Stockwell is survived by his wife, Annalyn of 26 years, and children: Sean Stockwell of California, Shannon Dryden of Alaska, Steven Stockwell of Florida, and Lauren Shade of Texas; as well as eight grandchildren and his beloved German Shepherd service dog, Kali. His family will miss his counsel, and his evident, deep joy whenever spending time with his grandchildren.
