Dean Mashburn

James Dean Mashburn, 63, of Kernersville, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022.

Born August 20, 1958, in Guilford County, he was a son to the late Joseph Mashburn and the late Betty Truitt Mashburn.  Dean was a former machine operator in the yacht manufacturing industry, he also worked at the Horneytown County Store and Danny’s Auto Repair.  He loved deep sea fishing, his family, and was a loyal friend.

He is survived by brother, Bill Mashburn (Pam) of High Point and Larry Mashburn of Thomasville; nephews, Joseph Mashburn (Kimberly) of Reidsville; nieces, Kimberlee McLaughlin (Joe) of Charlotte and Christy Hedgecock (Mike) of Summerfield; and extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy Mashburn.

At Dean’s request there will be no formal services.

Burial will be at Guilford Memorial Park.
