David Richard Shelley

David Richard Shelley, 89, of Trinity, passed away on October 26, 2019 at his home located in Trinity, NC.

David was born in Horry County, SC to William Edgard Shelley and Julie Granger Shelley on October 29, 1929. He finished furniture for most of his life for Drexel Heritage. David was a Godly man and loved to go to church. He attended church at New Beginnings Worship center in Archdale, NC. David was loved by many and will truly be missed.

David is preceded in death by his wife Ida Marie Laughlin Shelley.

David is survived by his sons Carl Richard Shelley and Brian Lee Shelley, his daughter Jennifer Lynn Shelley Varner husband Curtis, his grandchildren Hannah, Heather, Carl Jr., Trevor, and Haleigh.

Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday October 31, 2019 at Floral Garden Park, located at 1730 W. English Rd, High Point, NC 27262. Pastors Junior Hutchens & John Divine will be officiating.
