David Ray Palmer, 55, of Archdale, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017, at High Point Regional Hospital.
Born on February 11, 1962, in Guilford County, he was the son of Bob Palmer and Treva Hipps Palmer of Archdale. He was a graduate of Appalachian State University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. David was also the former Chaplain of Guil-Rand Fire Department, and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Morris Little officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Park.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service at the church.
The family would like to thank the wonderful and caring staff of High Point Regional Hospital ICU.
