David Norman Christian, 71, of Thomasville, passed away on May 6, 2020 at his residence.
David was born in Welch, West Virginia to Jack and Pearl Christian on December 8, 1948. He worked as an electrician for US Steel in the coal mines for most of his life. He was a veteran of Vietnam and served in the Airforce. He was also a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Lexington. David loved collecting his knifes, looking at old classic cars and listening to rock n roll music. He also loved to shoot guns and visit the beach every chance he could. He was loved by many and will truly be missed by his family and friends.
David is preceded in death by his mother Pearl Farthing Christian, his father Jack K. Christian, and his sister Deborah Leder.
David is survived by his wife Margaret Christian, his daughter Paige Maria Christian fiancée Michael, his son Shawn David Christian, his sister Judy Thomas, his grandchildren Brandon and Caleb, his niece Kellie, and his nephews Jason and Chris.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later time and date at Salisbury National Cemetery honoring David’s sacrifice to the US Armed Forces
