Darra Virginia Holland, 69, of Thomasville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, June 14, 2017.

Born June 23, 1947, in Alamance County, she was a daughter of the late Winston Charles C. Holland and the late Edna Wilkins Holland. Darra was a retired cook for Loflins Restaurant for twenty years and loved free-hand drawing. Darra was a strong witness for her Lord.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Holland-Hall and husband Craig, sisters, Linda Martin, Sherry Peruche, Carol Hilliard and Julie Fullen; brothers, Chuck Holland and Darryl Holland; and seven grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Michael Holland; and sister, Vickie Tate.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Lakeview Freewill Baptist Church.
