Darlene Keene

Darlene Whited Keene, 72, of Archdale passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at her home.

Born July 14, 1950, in Tazewell county, VA, a daughter of the late Perry Whited and the late Myrtle Marie Richardson Whited. She was of Apostolic faith.

She is survived by a son, Hubert “Tim” Keene, Jr (Katie) of Thomasville; a daughter, Antania Keene of the home; brothers, Ralph Whited (Phyllis), Allen Whited (Sandi), Roger Whited (Diane); sisters, Connie Whited, Betty Miller (Julius), JoAnn Campbell, Bonnie Hagy, all of VA; grandchildren, Logan, Mikayla, Hayden, Adriana, and Jacob; and great grandchildren, Otto and Oliver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Earnest Keene, Sr. and a sister, Brenda Gross.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Bethel Assembly of God in Richlands, VA with Rev. Ricky Cole and Pastor Gary Riffe officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service.
