Daniel Lee Dalton, 74, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born July 25, 1944, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Amos James Dalton and the late Ethel Lee Soots. Danny was a US Air Force veteran and retired from the US Postal Service following forty-six years of service.

He is survived by his twin brother, Donald James Dalton of High Point; sister, Cindy Teetor Policastro and husband Paul of High Point; sons, Rev. Andrew Allen Dalton and wife Martha of Old Fort, and Matthew Ryan Dalton of High Point; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 PM Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Rose officiating. Burial will be private at Salisbury National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service.
