Cynthia “Cindy” Dianne Bullins Hood, 59, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at High Point Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born, February 1, 1963, in Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late Frank Bullins and the late Lucille Hall Bullins. Cindy was raised by Pastor Ty Thompson and the late Lib Thompson. She graduated from Lucy Ragsdale High School. Cindy dedicated over thirty years of her life to the students in the Guilford County School System as a manager in the cafeteria most recently at Allen Jay Prep. She was a dedicated member of Community Baptist Church and served as the church secretary/treasurer. Cindy was a strong-willed and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved deeply and was a trustworthy friend that you could confide in. Cindy loved camping and spending time with family. She will be deeply missed by all who were a special part of her life.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry William Hood; son, Terry “TW” William Hood, Jr.; grand-daughter, Libby Michelle Hood; brother, Ty Thompson, Jr.; and sisters, Kathy Sands, and Peggy Norton.
In addition to her father those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jason McMahan (Whitney) of Archdale; daughter, Christy Tucker (Donnie) of Archdale; brothers, Larry Bullins (Deronda) of Thomasville, David Bullins (Lori) of Trinity, Kenneth Bullins of Silver Valley, Dickie Bullins of Winston Salem, James Bullins of Thomasville, and Tim Thompson (Bryony) of Elkin; sisters, Brenda Walker of Thomasville and B.J. Thompson of Jamestown; grandchildren, Treysen, Devin, Jameson, Hailey; special friend, Michele Thorp; her beloved church family; and numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Community Baptist Church with Rev. Ty Thompson, Rev. Adam Frisby, and Rev. James Benfield officiating. Burial will be immediately following at Guilford Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM on Monday, July 18, 2022, at Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Community Baptist Church, 9006 Hillsville Road, Trinity, NC 27370 and/or Ruff Love Animal Rescue PO Box 2013, Thomasville, NC 27361.
