Cynthia "Cindy" Cox

Cynthia "Cindy" Carol Harris Cox, 71, of Madison, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025, at the Hospice Home of High Point, surrounded by her loving family.

Born August 24, 1954, in Rockingham County, NC she was a daughter of the late Howard Milton Harris, and the late Marilyn Ganus Harris.

Left to cherish her memory; her beloved husband, James Cox; sons, Michael Cox (Lindsay Mitchell) of Madison, and David Cox of High Point; sisters, Vicki Everhart (Rocky) of Lexington, Mary Ann Long (Dale) of High Point, and Paula Tune of Madison, AL; grandchildren, Zach Cox, Baleigh Cox, Victoria Wilson (Ricky); and Colie Cox; along with her 6 great grandchildren.

A private Graveside service will be held in the Mayodan Municipal Cemetery in Mayodan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice Home at High Point; 1803 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262; or to Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church; 214 Andrew Sink Rd, Lexington, NC 27295.
