Curtis Eugene Young

Curtis Eugene Young, 69, of Thomasville, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Born March 24, 1951, in McDowell, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Roscoe Young and the late Martha McCarty Dunn.

Curtis is survived by his companion of twenty years, Sherry Barnes Rising of the home; brothers, Bobby Young, Danny Glass, and Donald Young; sisters, Patricia Brooks, Marcella Lemon, Freda Young, and Gladys Dean; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lydia Young; brothers, Billy Young, Frank Young, and Charles Greer; sisters, Nancy Halleman, and Sophie Glass.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Charity Baptist Church with Rev. Elton Wilburn officiating.
