Curtis James Henderson, 84, of Archdale, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017, at his home.

Born March 16, 1933, in Davidson County, he was a son of the late Pinze George Henderson and the late Viola Ottie Callicut Henderson. Mr. Henderson was a US Navy Veteran and retired from Hatteras Yachts.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Fields Henderson of the home; son, Michael Henderson; daughter, Staci Pope all of Archdale; sister-in-law, Brenda Young and husband Marvin of Thomasville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Hasty Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Beane officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
