Jordan Cody Ijames, 29, of Archdale, passed away Tuesday,
December 21, 2021, at High Point Medical Center.
Cody was born on March 6, 1992 in Guilford County. He
was the son of Steve Ijames, Jr. and Tera Shell (Derek).
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Gavin
Lewis and his daughter, Victoria Ijames, as well as his
brother, Chandler Shell. He is also survived by his
grandparents, Steve Ijames, Sr., Rita Parker (John), Terry
Malpass, Lori Cecil (Charles), his step-grandparents, Edna
Dezern (Jeff) and Jim Shell (Gwen), along with his greatgrandparents,

Cody worked as a chef and painter in High Point, Ocean

his heart. His children were absolutely his pride and joy.
Cody's journey may have ended here on earth but thanks to
his recent decision to become an organ donor, five
Christmas miracles were received. His story has only
begun. This is going to be a “Glorious Unfolding”.
