Clifford Fredrick Maines, 78, of Winston-Salem, formerly of New Jersey and NYS, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born December 19, 1937 in Morristown, NJ, he was a son of the late Clifford Maines and the late Zola Eller Maines. Mr. Maines was a veteran of the US National Guard and was an auto body technician for fifty-two years.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda LaFond and husband Alec of Olmstedville, NY; brothers, Winston Maines and wife Betty of Thomasville and Kenneth Maines and wife Marcia of Winston-Salem; grandsons, Michael Borden and wife Chelsea, and Shane LaFond; great-grandchildren, Chase and Avery Borden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gladys Lasso Maines; and son, Clifford F. Maines, Jr.

A private service will be held at a later date in NYS.
