Clarence Robert Pickenpack, 78, of High Point, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024, at his home.
Born January 30, 1946, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Joseph Pickenpack, Sr. and the late Mae Hester Diggs Pickenpack. Clarence was a 1964 graduate of William Penn High School and served in the US Air Force Veteran and a retired cook at High Point College. He was also a member of St. Stephens AME Zion Church.
He is survived by his sisters, Delois Binion, Patricia Edwards, Betty Emerson, Dorothy Pickenpack, Sherlina Pickenpack, and Katherine Pickenpack; and also a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Pickenpack, Jr., and Frankie Lee Pickenpack; sisters, Mildred Dockery, and Julia Ann Harmon.
Memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, August 2, 2024, at St. Stephens AME Zion Church.
The family will visit with friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at the church prior to the service and other times at the home of sister Betty P. Emerson.
