Clara G. (Gerard) Freeman

Clara G. Freeman, 100, of Trinity, North Carolina, passed away on June 3, 2020 at GreyBrier Nursing & Rehab.

Clara was born in Modesto, California to Hilma Petersen and David Jacob Gerard on March 14, 1920. She worked for Stanislaus County for over thirty years. She was a lifetime member of Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Modesto Symphony Orchestra for over 70 years as well as the county band. One of her greatest accomplishments besides reaching 100 years old was being honored by the Stanislaus County Art Council for her music. She also loved to travel all over the country and eat at different venues as much as she could.

Clara is preceded in death by her mother Hilma Petersen, her father David Jacob Gerard, her brother Otto Gerard, and her grandson Brian Ringler.

Clara is survived by her daughters Kathryn Ringler (Larry), Karen Hansen (Jim), and Linda Ringler, her Great Grandson Zachary Ringler, her niece Vickie Thurman, and her daughter in-law Carla Mitchell.
