Christopher Leigh Wright

Christopher Leigh Wright, 34, of Wilkesboro, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020 in High Point.

Born May 1, 1986, in Tucker, Georgia, he was a son of Sherrie Lynn Malphrus Huggins (James Byron Huggins) of Tennessee, and the late Frank Austin Wright, Jr. Chris was a heavy equipment operator with Tyson Chicken.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by his grandfather, Harold Glenn Griffith and wife Annette; sisters, Cynthia Marie Hazelton, and Constance Michelle Phillips; aunt, Nancy Neal; uncles, Ronald Griffith, Glenn Griffith, Gabriel Griffith, Danny Wright, Randy Wright, Stanley Wright, Scott Wright; nieces, Victoria Torres, Alexandria Hazelton, Taya Phillips, Olivia Hazelton, and Elianna Hazelton; nephews, Connor Hazelton and Carter Homes; cousins, Robin Brohm, Tiffany Davis, and David Davis; and great niece, Amora Faith Weathers.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Nathaniel Glenn Malphrus; and grandmothers, Helen Ledbetter, and Betty Wright.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 13, 2020, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Eric Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky
