Christine Sue Eshbaugh Madden, 51, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at her home following an extended illness.

Born April 21, 1968, in Portland, Maine, she was a daughter of Jean Jackson Eshbaugh. Christine was an information specialist with the High Point Fire Department retiring in 2017 following twenty-three years of service.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Curtis Teasley Madden, III of the home; daughter, Amanda Prout; step-sons, Curtis Madden, IV (Danielle), and Ryan Madden (Donna); sister, Sarah Oppong; brothers, Mike Eshbaugh, and Daniel Eshbaugh; grandchildren, Maddie, Jeremy, Dawson, and Skylar; nieces and nephew, Tessa, Emma, Anna, Isabella, Chance, and Angel; mother and father-in-law, Curtis and Betty Madden; and sister-in-law, Debbie Madden.

A gathering of family and friends will be private.
