Chris Mcdonald

Christina Theresa McDonald, 32, of Kernersville, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023, at her home.

Chris was born in Summit, NJ and moved to North Carolina in 1991. She attended Our Lady of Grace School, Greensboro, and Bishop McGuinness High School in Kernersville. She received a B.S. in Computer Science from Meredith College. Chris was an avid reader and especially loved the works of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. She succumbed to the complications of a recent surgery.

She is survived by her father, James Alexander McDonald and his wife Vanessa of Low Gap, N.C. and her mother Danita Miskiewicz Ostasiewski, Ph.D. of Kernersville as well as her father’s sister Jane Decker of Linden, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Saturday May 6, 2023 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in High Point with Rev. Baija Paul, OSFS officiating.
