Cheryl Karen (Burkard) Bristol

Cheryl Karen Burkard Bristol, 81, of High Point, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born October 19, 1943, in Buffalo, NY, to the late Robert Burkard and the late Caroline Mooney Burkard. On July 18, 1964, she married David “Dave” Roy Bristol and together they shared 60 years of matrimony.

Cheryl was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother; her best times were spent with her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, crafting, card making and traveling. Her absolute favorite times were spent playing games with her family and shopping.

Left to cherish her memory; her beloved husband Dave Bristol; daughters, Beth Campbell and husband Joe of Sykesville, MD and Tracey Hayes and husband Mark of Albemarle; son, Brian Bristol and wife Kerry of Lewisville; grandchildren, Zachary Wangler, Samantha Wangler, Abigail Wangler, Ryan Campbell, Sara Campbell, Tyler Bristol, River Bristol, Utah Bristol, Cole Hernandez and Kira Hernandez; great grandchild, Nova Moore; brother, Jack Burkard and partner Susan, and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00PM Saturday, December 14, 2024, in the sanctuary of College Park Baptist Church; 1601 Walker Ave, Greensboro, NC 27403; with the Reverend Michael Usey officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
