Charlie Wayne Cardwell

Charlie Wayne Cardwell, Sr., 73, of High Point, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

Born March 14, 1952, in Leaksville, NC; he was a son of the late Charlie Raymond Cardwell and the late Mary Ruth Bowman Cardwell.

Wayne is survived by his son, Charlie Wayne Cardwell, Jr. (Rose Hager) of Concord; daughter, Becky Ramirez (Candido) of High Point; grandchildren, Justin Cardwell, Sabrina Ramirez, Jennifer Ramirez, Jasmin Ramirez, and Brandon Lackey; brother, Jackie Cardwell and sister, Nora Manier.

Funeral Service will be 2:00PM Thursday, April 10, 2025, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point Chapel. Burial will follow in the Temple Heights Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 1:00-1:45PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
