Charles Leon Free
Charles Leon Free, 74, of Sophia, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Lexington Medical Center.
Born August 2, 1946, in Davidson County, he was a son of the late George Free and the late Willie Ward Free. Mr. Free was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by his stepson, Geoff Storie of Asheboro; stepdaughter, Carolyn Lowman of Greensboro; grandchildren, Matthew Storie (Christine), and Johnathon Knox.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Culley Free; two children; and two brothers.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Charity Baptist Church with Rev. Elton Wilborne officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Wright Funerals-Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
