Charles Edward Draper. 76, of West Lexington Ave., passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 at his home.

Born June 30, 1940 in Charlottesville, VA, he was a son of the late John Watson Draper and the late Irene Payne Draper. Mr. Draper was a US Army veteran serving in the 82nd Airborne Division and was also a member of The Wooly Bullies 584th Engineering Company in Vietnam. Mr. Draper was a retired graphic artist and was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by his wife Linda Stevens Draper of the home; sons, Steven Draper and wife Natacha of Raleigh and Charles Draper, Jr. and wife Sara of High Point; grandchildren, Kristin Draper, Sophia Draper, Olivia Draper and Benjamin Draper.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, John Watson Draper, Jr.
