Charles Ronald Carroll, 75, of Keyauwee Ln. passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born March 22, 1941 in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Charles William Carroll and the late Lillian Ashby Carroll. Mr. Carroll retired from Roadway Express, was a member of Allendale Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. He enjoyed fishing and talking football with his son on the telephone.

He is survived by his wife, Royalene Beck Carroll of the home; son, Jerry Richard Key and wife Lisa of Thomasville; daughter, Charlene Raffensberger and husband, Scott of Kernersville; brothers, David Carroll and wife Rulene of Jamestown and Timothy Carroll; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal Lura Carroll.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 20, 2016 in Allendale Baptist Church with Rev. David Younger officiating. Burial will follow in Bunker Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM Saturday prior to the service at the church.
