Charles Rayvon Cardwell

Charles Rayvon Cardwell, 80, of High Point, a beloved father, and friend, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Atrium Health High Point Medical Center.

Born December 26, 1945, Stuart, VA; he was a son of the late Rayford Cardwell and the late Rachel Brown Cardwell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, RJ Cardwell and Gary Cardwell.

Rayvon was a man who meant so much to those who knew and loved him. He leaves behind memories that will forever be held close by his family and friends. His presence, his love, and the impact he made on the lives around him will never be forgotten.

He was deeply loved by his children, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though his passing leaves a great emptiness, his memory will continue to live on through the stories, lessons, and love he shared throughout his life.

Rayvon will be missed more than words can express, but his family takes comfort in knowing his love will remain with them always.

Left to cherish his memory; his sons, Charles Cardwell (Nadine), and Jacob Cardwell; daughter, Christy Cardwell; grandson, Jesse Cardwell; sisters, Mary Lou Stephens, Linda Robertson (Lynn), and Loretta Joyce (Jimmy); and a host of nieces and nephews.
