Cecil Clarence Boitnott, 79, of High Point, passed away Thursday morning, July 4, 2019, at High Point Medical Center.

Born December 10, 1939, in Roanoke, VA, he was a son of the late Cecil Jameson Boitnott and the late Garnette Arnold Boitnott. Mr. Boitnott was a US Navy veteran and a retired long-distance truck driver.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Betsy Lee Hulin Boitnott of the home; son, Christopher Chappell and wife Cindy of Lyman, SC; daughters, Dawn Spears, and Tracy Ammons and husband Ronald all of High Point; brother, Richard Adams of Lexington, KY; sister, Janie Bolin of Greensboro; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at a later date.
