Carolyn Yates Kasarda

Our beloved Carolyn passed away peacefully after a short illness. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years John B. Kasarda, daughter Cynthia L. Kimzey and her son, Major Alexander S. Kasarda, granddaughters Caroline E. Burns and Ashley Wood McCutcheon. Two great-grandsons Ashton Burns and William McCutcheon II. Left to cherish her memories are an abundance of relatives and friends from near and far.

Carolyn enjoyed a beautiful life of many adventures. She played full-on. She was a woman of unshakable conviction and passion. She loved deeply and she was an incredible support person to many individuals and organizations. She touched countless people with her kindness and generosity. A selfless caregiver, who relentlessly volunteered for the High Point Central sports teams. She loved to help the underdog.

In Carolyn’s honor the family is hosting a celebration of her life for friends and family Saturday, September 14, 2019.

Carolyn lives on in our hearts forever!
