Carlton Price Hughes, 76, of Thomasville, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019, at High Point Medical Center.

Born April 23, 1942, in Davidson County, he was a son of the late Wade Hughes and the late Carrie Brown Hughes. Mr. Hughes was a US Army veteran and a retired supervisor with Marsh Furniture. He was an avid NY Yankee fan, loved to fish, hunt, and read.

He is survived by his wife of forty years, Ann Smith Hughes of the home; daughter, Sarah Hughes of High Point; and the light of his life, his grandson, Luke Hughes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Hughes.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Floral Garden Park with Rev. Robert Summers officiating.
