Canaan Gabriel Brewer, Sr., 37, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the home of his grandparents in Clemmons.

Born November 25, 1980, in Rowan County, he was a son of Kimberly Kirk Miller of Clemmons and Kevin Brewer and wife Pattie of Winston-Salem.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Canaan Gabriel Brewer, Jr.; daughter, Brooklyn Brewer; grandparents, Norma and Harold Thompson, and Bob Kirk; brother, Thor Miller; sisters, Jade Miller, and Stephanie Sisk; nieces, Kayliana Brewer Chloye Hardison, and Devin Duggins; special aunt, Becky Fulton; and special cousin, Donna Canup.

In 2017, he was preceded in death by his brother, Javin Brewer.

Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Friday, June 1, 2018, at Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Clark officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
