Brian Lohr

John Brian Lohr Sr., known as “Brian,” passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025. He was born in Thomasville, NC on August 1, 1957, to RL Lohr and Evelyn Pierce Lohr. He spent much of his childhood at his grandmother's house. As a boy he enjoyed riding his pony and farming with his grandfather. Brian loved being outside. Every Sunday, you could find him watching the NASCAR race and a Carolina Panthers game. Brian was a semi-trailer mechanic for many years and later became a truck driver until he retired. He had a quick wit.

Brian met the love of his life, Kim Gammons Lohr, they had 2 children John Brian Lohr Jr. (Ashlyn) and Ashley Lohr Durham (Mike). He was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kim, of 43 years, brother, Bradley, his kids, 5 grandkids Chase Livengood, Mikey Durham, Abbie Livengood, Levi Lohr and Leah Lohr and many other family and friends. He was loved by many.

Friends and family can visit at the home at 221 Hill Myers Road in Thomasville on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
