Brian Conrad Hudspeth, 64, of High Point, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026, at home.
Born February 3, 1962, in Guilford County, to Pattie Conrad Hudspeth and the late Wilson Efird “Buddy” Hudspeth, Jr.
Brian graduated from Andrews High School in 1980 and attended Western Carolina University. A lifelong outdoors-man, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, working with his hands, and spending time in both the mountains and at the beach.
He was the proud owner of BCH Concrete Construction for 25 years and held a General Contractor’s License, Real Estate License, and, as he would proudly note, a Fishing license. Throughout his life, he called High Point, Wilmington, and Fries/Galax home.
Brian loved cheering on his son Wilson on the basketball court, and his daughter Aymee and his grandson Ayden on the soccer field. He and his grand-daughter Millie loved to laugh and giggle whenever they got the chance. Whether tinkering on vehicles or sharing stories with friends and family, Brian was known for his easy-going spirit and was known by many as “Cool” and “Pig Pen.”
He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory; his mother, Pattie Conrad Hudspeth of the home; son, Wilson Hudspeth and wife Lacie of Wilmington; daughter, Aymee Todd of Washington, DC; grandchildren, Ayden Todd and Millie Hudspeth; sisters, Myra Slone and husband David, Jennifer Hughes and husband Mike, and Susan Osborne and husband Chris; and a host of nieces and nephews.
