Brenda Davenport Teague, 72, of Trinity, went home to heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, April 19, 2018.

Born April 5, 1946, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late John Davis Davenport and the late Christine Long Davenport. Mrs. Teague retired from Edmunds Manufacturing after many years of service, and then worked for Biscuitville on Eastchester Drive for several years. She loved and enjoyed taking care of family, friends and stray cats. Mrs. Teague was a member of Rich Fork Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Eric Raines and companion Lisa Sawyer of Summerville; daughter, Karen King and husband Michael of Sophia; step-son, Randy Teague and wife Debra of Thomasville; grandchildren, Sarah Beeson Gray, and Dylan Raines; great-grandson, Braxton Gray; and step-grandchildren, Emily Philbeck and Kara McNeill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Teague, and brother, Jerry Davenport.

Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Rich Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Bowers officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
