Brenda Gordon

Brenda Kay Morton Gordon, 70, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Thomasville Medical Center.

Born December 21, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Morton and the late Rena Bowden Gray. Brenda was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, James Wesley Gordon of the home; sons, Chris Gordon of High Point, and Joshua Gordon and wife Alina of Costa Rica; daughters, Heather Gordon of California, Rachel Gordon of Texas, and Rebekah Gordon of Greensboro; grandchildren, Noah Gordon of Lexington, and Kameron Gow of Colorado; great-grandchildren, Layla Earnest, and Clay Snuggs.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 29, 2026, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Richard Brown officiating. Burial will be private at Oakwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service.
