Brenda Culley Free, 66, of Thomasville, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017, at Hinkle Hospice House.

Born August 3, 1951, in South Boston, VA, she was a daughter of the late Allen Mason Culley, Sr. and the late Margie Trimble Rasnick. Mrs. Free was a retired hairdresser and a member of One Way Baptist Church in Randleman.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Leon Free of the home; sons, Geoff Storie of Asheboro, and Loy Lowman of Myrtle Beach; daughter, Carolyn Lowman of Asheboro; brother, Allen Culley, Jr. and wife Margaret of Danville; sister, Marilyn Huffman and husband Ken of Morganton, grandchildren, Matthew Storie and Johnathon Knox; step-father, Elijah Rasnick; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step-daughter, Deborah Frye and sister, Phyllis Kinder.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Wayside Tabernacle Baptist Church, in Thomasville, with Rev. Wendell Herring and Rev. Charles Garrett officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
