Brenda Ann Cox, 69, of Denton, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Mountain Vista Health Park.

Born November 7, 1947, in High Point, she was a daughter of the late Clarence “Gene” Cox and the late Vergie “Polly” Hall Cox. She was a gifted artist, poet and had a great love for animals. Her career began with her own typesetting business named Bestypes on English Rd. She was a school bus driver for Guilford and Randolph Counties. Brenda was working for Welborn Middle School Child Nutrition Program and the time if her illness. In the teen years of life, she accepted Jesus as her Savior at Springfield Baptist Church.

Memories of Brenda are cherished by her daughter, Polly-Gean Cox of Greensboro; sisters, Barbara (Ken) Johnson, Bonnie Greene and Vickie (David) Duncan.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, March 5, 2017, at the 11:00 AM service in Springfield Baptist Church, 1322 Baker Rd., High Point.

The family would like to thank the staff of Mountain Vista Health Park and the staff of Hospice of Randolph for their kind care and support.

Heaven gained a unique and beautiful lady. Brenda Ann Cox can walk, talk and understand again, Praise the Lord!
