Brandon Lee Ferris

Brandon Lee Ferris, 44, of Trinity, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Thomasville Medical Center.

Born May 24, 1982, in Denver, Colorado, he was a son of Rick Ferris and the late Laura Holbrook Ferris. Brandon and his family moved from Colorado to the High Point area when he was very young. Brandon graduated from Randleman High School in 1999. After graduating, he worked for his late father-in-law, Jerry Oden, at Jerry’s TV as a repairman. Brandon could fix anything and had a passion for repairing electronic items. Working for Jerry’s TV is where Brandon met the love of his life, Melissa Oden. Brandon and Melissa married in 2002 and were to celebrate twenty-five years of marriage together on their next anniversary. He loved his family and spending time with them. Brandon also enjoyed the simple pleasures of all that nature and the outdoors offered, and he loved almost all music.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-four years, Melissa Oden Ferris, of the home; sons, Wesley Glenn and partner, Phenix West, and Jacob Ferris; daughter, Kelly Glenn and partner, Ian Vogt; father, Rick Ferris and mother, Dara Ferris; brothers, Joshua Ferris, Ryan Gunter, Daniel Gunter and partner, Megan Eckardt, Chad Ferris and wife Mary, and Chris Ferris; sister, Sarah Owen and husband, Grant; grandchildren, Paisliegh Glenn, Leon Vogt, and Pandora Harris.

In addition to his biological mother, Laura Holbrook Ferris, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Janie Oden and brother-in-law, James Oden.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00pm on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in the High Point chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at 2:00-2:45pm Saturday, prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
