Bradford Smith Myers passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, at the Hospice Home at High Point. Born in 1935, in Thomasville, NC, Bradford was the son of the late henry Bradley and Lois Westmoreland Myers. He grew up in Thomasville, where he graduated from Thomasville High School. On November 12, 1961, he married Linda Elizabeth Brinkley of Thomasville. The couple had one son, Eric Myers.
Shortly after graduation, Bradford began his career with Thomasville Furniture Industries. He worked at various plants and held a variety of positions. He retired while working at Plant C after 40 plus years with the company.
Bradford enjoyed the outdoors. His spent much of his time over the years hunting, fishing, skeet/trap/target shooting every opportunity he was given.
Bradford spent most of his life as an active member of Carolina Memorial Baptist Church in Thomasville where he served in many roles from teaching Sunday School to serving as a deacon.
Bradford was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Linda Brinkley Myers. He is survived by his son, Eric Myers (Pam) of Thomasville; grandsons, Wil Myers (Maggie) of Charlotte and Beau Myers (Emmy) of Alpharetta, GA; great grandchildren, Miller and Maisie Myers of Charlotte; brother, Dale Myers (Becky) of Thomasville.
Bradford was preceded in death by sisters, Joyce Elizabeth Myers of Savannah, GA, Brenda Saunders Moore of Charlotte, Martha Ann Crickmore of Myrtle Beach, SC, Margaret Edwards and Nellie Morris of Thomasville and brother, Henry Willard Myers of Thomasville.
Honoring his appreciation for the outdoors, a Graveside Service to celebrate Bradford’s life will be held at Holly Hill Memorial Park cemetery in Thomasville.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Holly Hill Cemetery with Rev. Bynum Orr and Rev. Tim Landreth officiating.
The family will visit with friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont; 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point NC 27262; or Carolina Memorial Baptist Church, 422 Liberty Drive, Thomasville, NC 27360
