Bob Plummer, Jr.

Robert “Bob” Kemp Plummer, Jr., 86, of Trinity, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Hospice Home of High Point.

Born July 21, 1939, in Randolph County; he was the son of the late Robert Kemp Plummer, Sr. and the late Elsie Julian Plummer. He served in the U S Air Force and retired as a cargo manager for American Airlines.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson Mark Baumgartner, and son-in-law, Eddie Billings.

Those left to cherish his memory; his beloved wife Florence Davis Plummer; daughters, Elizabeth Baumgartner, and Kris Billings; son, R. Kemp Plummer III; grandchildren, Avery Plummer and Taylor Keenan and husband Robert; and 4 great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life service will be 2:00PM Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Mt Vernon Church; 9931 Archdale Rd., Trinity; with the Reverend Dr. Caroline Franks officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
