Robert “Bob” Chase Brown, 89, of Archdale, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born May 15, 1928, in High Point, he was a son of the late Roscoe Brown and the late Layla Daniel Brown. Mr. Brown was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He retired from Western Electric which gave him the opportunity to travel and see the world.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Elizabeth “Lib” Galloway Brown of the home; daughters, Donna Cox and husband Dale of Cullowhee; step-daughter, Cathy Hartman and husband Charles of Archdale; daughter-in-law, Debbie Carter of Trinity; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-son, Steve Carter.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 10, 2017, in the Mausoleum Chapel of Floral Garden Park with Rev. Harold Shives officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
