Billy Eugene Thornton

Billy Eugene Thornton, 55, of High Point, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022, at his home.

Born September 6, 1966, in Guilford County, he was a son to the late Billy Golden Thornton and the late Norma Jean Armstrong Beard.  Billy was a cook at many area restaurants over the years. He was a longtime resident of the Deep River community and had a passion for food and cooking.

He is survived by his partner Ann Drosick of the home; son, Jacob Thornton of West Virginia; brothers, Brent Reddish of High Point, Timothy Thornton (Jennifer) of Concord, and Tommy Jones of White Plains; sisters, Christy Reddish of High Point and Crystal Tucker (Steven) of High Point.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, September 9, 2022, at Deep River Friends Cemetery.
