Billy Ray Joyce

Billy Ray Joyce, 74, of Lexington, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at his home.

Born March 30, 1948, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Reid Watson Joyce and the late Irene Brown Joyce.

Billy is survived by his children, Charlotte Carroll of Archdale, Debbie Powers and husband Keith of Trinity, Fred Perdue of Trinity, Tony Perdue and wife Shelby of Archdale, and Terry Perdue and wife Charity of Lexington; brothers, Watson Reid Joyce, Jr. of High Point, and Bobby Joyce of High Point;  grandchildren, Jonathan Perdue, Wendy Hale, Chad Carroll, Ralph Evans, Jr., Jennifer Powers, Brian Powers, Dusty Powers, Christina Caprio, Curtis Perdue, Tiffany Cutshaw, Scott Gillaspie, Rebecca Hemby, Corey Gillaspie, and Nolan Gillaspie; twenty-six great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Geraldine Joyce.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 7, 2022, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Reverend Dean Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service.
