Bill Gaither

Billie ”Bill” Gaither, 83, of Thomasville, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020, at Spring Arbor of Thomasville.

Born January 8, 1937, in Davie County, North Carolina, he was a son of the late James Byrd Gaither and the Eula Nichols Gaither.  Bill served in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his sons, Randy Gaither (Darby) of Lexington, Greg Gaither of Rural Hall; step-son, Harold Jones (Susie) of Mt. Gilead; step-daughter, Julie Jones of Charlotte, sister, Pauline Lurye of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Mitch Gaither (Shae) of Lexington, Allison Koonts (Daniel) of Landis, NC.

Private services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way Lexington, NC 27292.
