William Lee Foster, Jr., 88, of High Point, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Westchester Harbour.
Born January 6, 1932, in Forsyth County, he was a son of the late William Lee Foster, Sr. and the late Willie Sain Foster. Bill was an Eagle Scout and a US Navy veteran. He retired from Swaim Plumbing Supply and was a member of Green Street Baptist Church since 1955.
He is survived by his brother, Thomas Foster of Mocksville; nieces, Jan Angus and husband Ron of Mocksville, and Jennifer McLeod and husband Joseph of Zebulon; and close friend June Edwards of High Point.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Buckner Foster, and sister, Dorothy Evans.
Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, December 4, 2020, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Frank Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM Friday prior to the service.
