Bill James Byerly, Jr

William (Bill) James Byerly, Jr., 62, of Thomasville, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center.

Born July 8, 1964, in Davidson County, he was the son of the late William James Byerly, Sr., and the late Jeanette Sink Leary.  Bill attended East Davidson High School and worked with his dad installing and maintaining pools for many years. He also loved being at home and having a garden.

He is survived by his stepfather, Thomas Leary of Longs, South Carolina; stepsisters, Angie Welch and Ginger Ramey; aunt, Ann Holder; cousins, Angie Lomax and Kelby McDaniel; and many friends and neighbors.

Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Faith Journey Church, 2352 Upper Lake Road, Thomasville, NC  27360 with Pastor Phil officiating. 

The family will visit with friends following the service.
