Betty Owens Turner

Ms. Betty (KOOL AID) Owens Turner, 63, of Thomasville, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center.

Born May 31, 1952 in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of Clayton Owens and the late Carrie Bell Williams. Ms. Turner was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her son, Ishmael Owens and wife Rita of High Point; daughter, Allison Carter of Thomasville; brothers, James Owens and Clayton Owens, Jr. both of Thomasville; sisters, Dorothy Livingston and husband Robert of Greensboro, Willie Ann Owens of Durham, Sarah Owens of High Point and Sandra Owens of Thomasville; five grandchildren, Isiah Owens, Whitney Owens, Jatara Brown, Quotez Carter and Ishmael Owens, Jr.; two step-grandchildren, Moriah Davis and Ivana Davis and her faithful canine companion, Tobie.
