Betty Jo Sheffey Proctor, 82, of Asheboro, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017.

Betty Jo was born April 26, 1935, to the late John and Kate Sheffey.

She is survived by her son, Franky Proctor and wife Yvette of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter, Johnnie Ellen Proctor Carter of Asheboro; grandchildren, Graysen Barber and wife Jennifer, Alesia Branning and husband Roger, Andrew Jackson, Jonathan Jackson, and Carly Carter; great-grandchildren, Leah Faith Branning, and Nicholas Jackson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
