Betty Wade McDonald, 98, of High Point, passed away, Monday 11, 2026, at Wesley Long Hospital.

Born December 16, 1927, in High Point, she was a daughter of the late John and Eula Wade.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis McDonald; sons, Curtis McDonald, Mark McDonald, and Bill McDonald; and her sister, Mary Wade Lee.

Left to cherish her memory; her son, Jim McDonald; brother, Johnny Wade; nephews, Kim Setliff (Joy), Dean Lee (Nikki), and Randall Lee (Stephanie); nieces, Robin Munden (Tom), Tracy Boyle (Randy), Deborah Giambanco (Tony), and Angela Collins (Kenneth) and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Monday, May 18, 2026, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point Chapel.

Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.

Then family will receive friends following the service at the home.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX  75231.
