Betty Jean (Duck) Sharp

Betty Jean Duck Sharp, 92, of Thomasville, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Hospice of the Piedmont.

Born May 22, 1931, in Mecklenburg County, a daughter of the late Carl Duck and the late Ollie Young Duck.

She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Sharp, Sr of the home; her sons, Chuck Sharp and wife, Sarah, and William Michael “Doogs” Sharp; grandchildren, Angie Keefer (Brian), Steph Strader (Mark), Chris Lankford (Jenny), and Gator Lankford (Nichole); great grandchildren, Nick Keefer, Alex Keefer, Mia Keefer, Shelby Lankford, Levi Lankford and Lincoln Lankford.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Duck.

Following a private family interment, friends and family are invited to gather at the home of Chuck and Sarah Sharp, starting at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 138 Maryland Dr, Thomasville, NC  27360.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Home of High Point, 1803 Westchester Dr, High Point, NC  27262.
