Betty Jean Ball

Betty Jean Ball, 79, of Thomasville, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025, at her home.

Born July 20, 1946, in High Point, she was a daughter of the late Robert Ball and the late Gracie Key Harris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald “Red” Ball and Buford Ball; and her beloved chihuahua, Killer.

Left to cherish her memory; her sons, Gene Williams of Thomasville, and Thomas Williams and wife Sandy, of High Point; daughter, Michelle Redding of Thomasville; grandchildren, Gene Williams, Jr. and wife Tina, Robert Williams, Mary Elizabeth Williams, and Christina Wooten; great grandchildren, Jared Jones, Shelby Watts, Finley Wooten, Leland Wooten, and Ryker Wooten; brother, Bob Ball, and wife Elizabeth; and her sister, Beatrice “Bea” Hutchins and husband Jim.

Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Thursday, October 2, 2025, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point chapel, with the Reverend CW Moss officiating.

Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory cemetery in Walkertown.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45AM Thursday prior to the service.
